This Privacy Policy explains how TaskBridge collects and uses personal data through the website at taskbridge.eu. It is intended to provide clear information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Greek data-protection law.
1. Who is responsible for your data
For privacy questions or to exercise your data-protection rights, contact us at sales@taskbridge.eu.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the TaskBridge public website, including its contact and demo-request forms. It does not govern the personal data stored inside a customer’s own TaskBridge installation.
TaskBridge is self-hosted software. Customer installations run on infrastructure controlled by the customer. The software does not automatically transmit tickets, users, message content, attachments, operational data, analytics, or telemetry from a customer installation to TaskBridge. The customer organisation determines how personal data in its own installation is processed and is responsible for its own privacy notices and GDPR obligations.
3. Personal data we collect through the website
We collect personal data only when it is needed to operate the website, respond to you, protect the website, or comply with legal obligations.
Contact enquiries
If you use the Contact form, we may collect your first and last name, email address, telephone number, message, and any other information you choose to include.
Demo requests
If you request a demonstration, we collect your name, company name, business email address, and your confirmation that TaskBridge may use those details to contact you about the requested demo.
Email correspondence
If you email us or reply to a message from us, we process your email address, the message content, attachments, and normal email-routing information in order to handle the correspondence.
Technical and security information
When you visit the website or submit a form, the website and its infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested URL, date and time, referring page, error information, and security events. This information is used to deliver the website, prevent abuse, diagnose faults, and maintain security.
Please do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential credentials, passwords, health information, or other special-category data through the website forms.
4. Why we use personal data and our legal bases
- To respond to enquiries and arrange requested demonstrations: processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible contract and for our legitimate interest in communicating with potential customers (Article 6(1)(b) and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Where you provide explicit consent: for example, when you confirm that TaskBridge may contact you about a requested demo (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time.
- To operate, protect, and troubleshoot the website: based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website and preventing fraud, spam, and misuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims: where required by law or necessary for legal proceedings (Article 6(1)(c) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
TaskBridge does not use website enquiries for newsletters, bulk promotional email, behavioural advertising, or unrelated marketing. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing and we do not profile website visitors.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The website may use strictly necessary cookies or similar local-storage technologies required for website security, form submission, session management, administrative login, and basic technical operation. These technologies are not used to build advertising profiles.
TaskBridge does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party behavioural tracking. If this changes, this policy will be updated and, where required, non-essential technologies will not be activated until the visitor has made an appropriate consent choice.
6. Who may receive personal data
Access is limited to authorised personnel and service providers that are necessary to run the website and email service.
Service providers may process data only to provide their services, subject to their contractual and legal obligations. TaskBridge does not sell, rent, or trade personal data and does not provide enquiry details to data brokers or advertisers.
7. International data transfers
Some infrastructure or software providers may process limited personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where the GDPR requires safeguards for such a transfer, the transfer must rely on an applicable adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may contact us for further information relevant to your data.
8. How long we keep personal data
Contact enquiries, demo requests, and related correspondence are normally retained for no longer than six months after the most recent meaningful communication. They may be deleted sooner when no longer needed.
Technical and security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention, according to the relevant system configuration. Information may be retained for longer when required by applicable law or when necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls, updates, backups, and security monitoring where appropriate. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access and collect only the data needed for the stated purposes.
10. Your rights under the GDPR
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion of your data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive data you provided in a portable format where the legal requirements apply; and
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
To exercise a right, email sales@taskbridge.eu. We may need to request information necessary to verify your identity. We will respond without undue delay and normally within one month, as required by the GDPR.
11. Complaints
If you believe that your personal data has been processed unlawfully, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.

12. Children
The website and TaskBridge product are intended for organisations and business users, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, services, legal requirements, or controller details change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
